Touch A Truck 2019

Put your imagination in gear and get to 4th Annual Castle Rock Touch A Truck event Saturday, September 28, hosted by Castle Rock Police Department. These trucks are usually plowing streets, working construction sites and saving lives, but for this event they’ll be at Douglas County Fairgrounds for all to see. Kids will get a chance to sit in the driver’s seat and explore police cars, firetrucks, news trucks, helicopters and much more! Plus, get the opportunity to hear from the operators about how everything works and what role the vehicle plays in the community.

Castle Rock Tower of Terror

October 12-26 Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm to 10 pm
Join Castle Rock Fire and Rescue for a terrifying night at the annual Castle of Terror. The scream-worthy haunted house benefits the Police and Fire Explorer programs. With a goal to scare, those under 13 are not admitted without an adult.

Civil Air Patrol Open House

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is the official, All-Volunteer Auxiliary of the US Air Force. We have three primary missions,

Aerospace Education both internal (for CAP members) and external (for the community, schools, etc.)
Emergency Services (Search and Rescue, Disaster Response, support to Law Enforcement)
Cadet Program where we train young people Leadership, Character Development, Physical Fitness, and training in the other missions of CAP.

Larkspur Elementary PTO’s 23rd Annual Fall Festival

October 26th - 11:00am to 4:00 pm
The activities this year will include: Inflatables, Classroom and Yard Games, Bake Sale with Home-baked Goods, Concessions, Costume Contest for Pre-K – 6th Grade including prizes for best homemade costume, best overall costume and best Family Themed Costume, Cupcake Walk, Toy Walk, a Haunted House courtesy of the Larkspur Fire Department, Trick or Treat Street, Caramel Apple Makin’ Station and much more! Children 1+ need wristbands to participate in all games, activities and inflatables. Adults and children under 1 are free to enter the festival.

Colorado Run for the Fallen

September 14 @ 7pm
Colorado Run for the Fallen will kick off Saturday morning at 0700 at the Mountain Post Global War on Terrorism Fallen Soldier’s Memorial with a short start ceremony and begin the 2-day multi county journey to Fort Logan National Cemetery. Run Stop Point and End of Day Ceremony for Day 1 Saturday 14 September will be Fire Station 152 in Castle Rock, CO (corner of Crystal Valley Parkway and Plum Creek). Day 2 we will begin at Fire Station 152 and conclude in the late afternoon with our Closing Ceremonies at Fort Logan National Cemetery 4400 Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236 (time to be announced)

AIM2Cure - Sip2Cure
