All the way from L.A., the Red Hot Chili Pepper Tribute Band has been “Spreading the love for the Chilis to fans across the U.S. and abroad,” for the last decade. Keep your 4th of July celebrations going strong and head over to Festival Park to enjoy some of the best rock music of the 90s to today. Fun for the whole family, we will have some patriotic fun, food, and cocktails to jump start your weekend.

Music in the Meadows – LITTLE MOSES JONES

Fun in the Sun

Formerly known as ‘Splash in the Park’- Fun in the Sun is the same kid-oriented event in July that will be hosted at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Activities include FREE bounce houses, water activities, and other fun.

Free Concert – That Eighties Band

Join us for a night in the fresh air while listening to live music at the outdoor Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Enjoy craft beers, cocktails, and delectable delights available for purchase from area vendors. Yard games and bounce houses will be set up for the children.Open seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

First Fridays: Mike Nash and the Southern Drawl Band

Mike Nash and the Southern Drawl Band will bring their “Southern Rockin’ Country Music,” all the way from Tennessee to Festival Park. They have played with major artists including Lynyrd Skynrd, the Charlie Daniels Band, the Eli Young Band, and Justin Moore. One of their greatest achievements came in 2012, when the University of Tennessee debuted the music video for the band’s rocked up, barn-burning version of “Rockytop” on the jumbo-tron at Neyland Stadium.

Folks, the PACE Theatre will be filled with the sounds of 1954 when Carl Perkins and the boys first recorded with Sam Phillips, and 1956 when Johnny Cash laid down his first record, Hey Porter and Cry Cry Cry…you’ll be transported back in time when you hear the lovely, angelic harmonies of The Wildwood Roses.

Colorado Run for the Fallen

Colorado Run for the Fallen will kick off Saturday morning at 0700 at the Mountain Post Global War on Terrorism Fallen Soldier’s Memorial with a short start ceremony and begin the 2-day multi county journey to Fort Logan National Cemetery. Run Stop Point and End of Day Ceremony for Day 1 Saturday 14 September will be Fire Station 152 in Castle Rock, CO (corner of Crystal Valley Parkway and Plum Creek). Day 2 we will begin at Fire Station 152 and conclude in the late afternoon with our Closing Ceremonies at Fort Logan National Cemetery 4400 Kenyon Avenue, Denver, CO 80236 (time to be announced)

AIM2Cure - Sip2Cure

SIP2Cure at the Grange in Castle Rock on Saturday, September 21. 6:30-9:30 p.m. This is a fun filled adult evening of UNLIMITED wine tasting from several wineries. There will be heavy appetizers, desserts and plenty of opportunity to make new friends! All wine is generously donated by Bubbles Liquor World.
