Join us on Oct 21, 2016 at Kirk Hall in Castle Rock for a wonderful, once in lifetime film premiere event of the first feature film shot in Castle Rock - Auto Shop of Horrors. Meet the cast, crew and producers before the screening, and enjoy the music of “Over the Castle” as the perform the theme song and other original music - included with you your ticket.

Purchase early - seats are limited and the price will increase closer to the event date.

Film Synopsis

A mentally disturbed car mechanic, Randy, becomes convinced that if he eats enough human eyeballs he’ll develop the ability to see into the future, so when customers bring their cars into his repair shop, he eats their eyeballs.

The Castle Rock Connection

The movie was filmed at 1 Stop Tire and Auto in downtown Castle Rock and we used Castle Rock actors such as Paul Neal Rohrer, Kiaja Harris, John Manka, Kasha Fauscett and Tim Gallagher, a.k.a Tim Fegan. There are even a cameos of Maddie’s Bier Garten and the Veteren’s Monument.

Over The Castle, a the award winning Castle Rock band who has played the Gothic, Red Rock’s and various events around town, co-wrote (with Tim Gallagher) and performs the theme song “Auto Shop of Horrors”. Check out the music video or download the mp3 from iTunes and GooglePlay.

 

Meet the Filmmakers

Glenn Berggoetz is the co-writer/producer/director of Auto Shop. He has written and produced many films including “Midget Zombie Takeover”, “To Die is Hard” and “Paralyzed with Fear” starring Kane Hodder (Jason of Friday the 13th). Most have distribution deals are available online at Amazon.

Tim Gallagher is the co-writer/producer/director and editor of Auto Shop. He wrote and produced Gerald starring Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Mickey Rooney. Tim met Glenn in after returning to Castle Rock from Los Angeles after the completion of Gerald, which is available online at Amazon.

This is Glenn and Tim’s first true collaboration on a feature film, although Tim is currently editing Glenn’s movie Paralyzed with Fear.

The Producers

John Manka, owner of 1 Stop Tire and Auto in Castle Rock, is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Development association, and the driving force behind Business Over Beverages (BOB). John was selected as Citizen of the Year. John met Tim while on a trip to China sponsored by the Chamber, which is where John also developed the concept of BOB. John not only provided the auto shop, but also operated the equipment.

Glenn and Tim approached John with idea of a comedy horror at the auto shop, and John was more than glad to support the arts, saying “This can only be good thing for Castle Rock.”
