ABOUT THE STAR SPANGLED GALA
We are so very happy that you are here to support our Service Members.
The Healing Warriors Program team entered 2022 following the impacts of the pandemic and the Afghanistan withdrawal, stronger and more agile in our mission to serve the needs of our veteran community.
We saw an increased need for services as clients reported an escalation of Post Traumatic Stress symptoms, anxiety, anger, grief, sleep disturbance, and pain management issues. Everything we’ve learned in these past 9 years since our inception, has given us critical knowledge, essential structure, and mobilization as we look to the challenges that lay ahead with increased suicide and the need for support. All funds raised at this event go towards our 4 pillared program model.
FEATURING:
Ken Clark- Master of Ceremonies
Master of Ceremonies, Ken Clark from Colorado’s Own Channel 2, will begin our evening with entertainment from the Denver Dolls, and then kick up the pace and excitement with the famous Healing Warriors Program pie auction! Strawberry Rhubarb, Bourbon Chocolate Pecan, French Apple, and Huckleberry pie are rumored to be making a grand appearance. Enjoy the fun all while supporting our Veterans and military families.
Denver Dolls- Musical Entertainment
Meet The Denver Dolls: a sassy, all-female trio of professional performers based in colorful Colorado! Inspired by beloved WWII Era Shows of the past, these darling Dolls root their musical style, beautiful look, and light-hearted performance in the tradition of the beloved female groups of the Thirties, Forties, and Fifties (with just a smattering of music from today). Built from the ground up by passionate musicians with decades of professional experience, The Denver Dolls are a delight for audiences of all ages!
